SuperTripLand 3.0.0.2

STL 3.0.0.2 - Chat, Hit Feedbacks, & ADS

Whats been added:

  • Added Chat. Message other players in game!
  • Added Player Ragdoll
  • Added Red Flash FX when getting hit
  • Enemy Trippie Flashes when hit
  • Added UI animations when shooting
  • Made ADS more snappy and responsive
  • Added client side prediction for when player shoots bullets
  • Added slide + jump combo (feature recommended by GhostCatJoypad)
  • New weapon fire sound effects, sliding SFX, running SFX, walking SFX. All audio properly balanced.

Whats been fixed:

  • Fixed Player sticking to walls
  • Fixed Wonky Hitboxes on player & bullets passing through them
  • Increased Damage Done to compensate for armor added
  • Players Magazine now auto fills upon respawn
  • Weird bullet spread on HIP fire. Fixed for accuracy (pointed out by Soza)

Known Issues:

  • Desynchronization when jumping sometimes occurs. This is more pronounced when doing a slide + jump combo.
  • Half the time, killcam will show incorrect replays.
  • Occasional game crash upon getting KO’d. Related to killcam.
  • You can stand inside of other Trippies, making them unshootable. We will make the Trippies pushable with physics in the next update.
  • On Respawns, weapons ADS & positioning may get misaligned. Only fix right now is refreshing the page.

UI Feedbacks:

When you shoot, the UI responds dynamically, thanks to our SmoothLerp64 Script (detailed in the 3.0.0.1 dev log). This ensures a more engaging experience than simply showing a reduction in ammunition.

In-Game Chat:

We added a chat to the bottom left of the main HUD. You can use the /help command to see a list of available commands. We plan to link this to your actual STL account once we integrate STL3 with the existing game’s accounts & backend.

Hit Feedbacks & Ragdoll:

We’ve added ragdoll effects to the player, and hits are now much more responsive with a player flash to confirm successful strikes. We plan to add a hitmarker and some more juice in the coming days.

ADS Fixed:

A request we got from a lot of the beta testers was that the ADS felt weird and covered too much of the screen. So, we’ve made it smaller and made the movement more fluid.

Thats all for 3.0.0.2! Stay tuned for 3.0.0.3 updates.
